The diaphragm that controls the lungs, and the pelvis diaphragm work in partnership. It also explores when this breath is not functioning properly.
If you have ever felt like your breathing pattern is the opposite of what is done in most classes, this video will be helpful. A healthy breath pattern has the stomach expanding on the in breath. In a paradoxical, or reverse breathing pattern the chest lifts and the belly moves towards the spine on the in breath.
